Ayodhya Police is the primary Law Enforcement Agency for the District of Ayodhya in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a unit of the Uttar Pradesh Police and has the primary responsibilities of law enforcement, investigation as well as traffic management within the limits of District Ayodhya. It is headed by a Senior Superintendent of Police Officer who is an IPS officer and is assisted by four Additional SP rank officers for City, Rural, Traffic and Ram Janm Bhoomi Security. They are further assisted by Circle Officers of Dy SP rank who act as supervisory officers of Respective Circles in Ayodhya.
There are 19 Police stations in Ayodhya district.
