Ensuring Public Safety:Ayodhya Police aims to prevent crime through measures such as community policing, Regular Foot Patrolling, Anti Romeo Squad, Dial 112 , neighbourhood watch programs, and public awareness campaigns like Mission Shakti. By identifying and addressing potential risks and vulnerabilities, the police department works towards creating a safer environment for all.
Crime Prevention and Investigation: Besides using Proactive Measures for the purpose of Crime Prevention, Ayodhya Police also employs Modern Scientific tools, Forensic Specialisation and Methods for developing investigative Policing.
Traffic Management: With continuous rise in vehicular traffic in Ayodhya, Ayodhya Police focuses on effectively managing traffic flow, reducing congestion, and ensuring road safety . This is achieved by adhering to 3E’s principle of Engineering, Education and Enforcement which is reflected in utilisation of Intelligent Traffic Management system for seamless traffic movement in the city .
Community Engagement and Tourist Facilitation: Ayodhya Police Emphasizes on the importance of building strong relationships with the community and endeavours to include all sections of society as a part of strengthening companionship . Apart from this, Functioning of Separate Thana in Ram Janmbhoomi Parisar, setting up of Tourists Helpdesk and Facilitation centres across the city, utilising trained and multilingual professionals, launching a dedicated Ayodhya Police website and a proposed Tourism Thana especially catering to the tourists are some of many steps taken to make visit to the city a cherishable and hassle free experience for the tourist.
Maintaining Peace during Festivals and Events: Ayodhya is a city of great religious and cultural heritage, with visitors flocking in the city in large numbers during festivals like Ram Navami, Saawan Jhoola Mela, Deepotsav and other events round the year. Ayodhya Police through its proactive measures , Traffic Advisories, round the clock police deployment as well as CCTV and other electronic surveillance methods plays a crucial role in ensuring peaceful and incident free celebration of festivals and other religious congregation.
